Andalusia is one of the 17 autonomous regions of Spain. The area lies in the south of Spain and is bordered to the north by Extremadura and Castile-La Mancha, Murcia in the east, south by the Mediterranean and Gibraltar, and in the west to Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean. In May 2004 we traveled through this area.
